This weekly menu is a perfect example of how I try and use seasonal produce whenever possible! Whether is the delicious palak rice (it is so easy to make, really!) or the carrots, radish and peas salad, each uses the winter produce to the fullest! And that is what we like, isn’t it? Making the best out of the season’s produce!

And some like pesto or green chutney can surely be made in advance and stored for up to a week in the fridge. So really you just have to make something to go with them, that is all. This means so much time saved! And the cookies, sigh! I have realised I often do put some kind of cookies in my weekly menu. That is because they are easy to make and ready to eat kind of food! Perfect for a teatime snack, or a mid morning snack or a lunchbox option!

So if you are wondering whether you should be following a weekly menu, trust me, it is really worth it. And this is just a rough guide. You can get inputs from the family and see what you want to change here and there. Add some more meat or eggs to your meal if you really want it. It is so totally easy to follow a weekly menu. It is just a matter of forming a habit!
