8 Valentine Special Desserts

Celebrating Valentine Day? Here are 8 awesome Valentine Special Desserts!

Wondering what to make at home for Valentine’s Day? Here is a list of 8 Valentine Special Desserts to make your day super special!

So I was sitting here and thinking who cares about Valentines these days and acting all hoity-toity and thinking that I will not do a valentine special this year but then when there is so much love around one does get tempted.

Giving in to the temptation with a list of 8 special valentine desserts you can whip at home easily

Chocolate Flourless Cake

This Chocolate Flourless cake is a surprise in every way, almost only chocolate with no other flour added its almost like sex in mouth well I am not saying anything more. Go ahead and try it to know!

“Don’t wreck a sublime chocolate experience by feeling guilty. Chocolate isn’t like premarital sex. It will not make you pregnant. And it always feels good.” ― Lora Brody.

Strawberry & Champagne Cupcakes

For me if there is one romantic movie which I adore is Julia Roberts Pretty Woman and I have that strawberry and Champagne scene from the movie etched in my mind and these cupcakes have drawn their inspiration from them. After all what else can be more lovely than these together (eggless version also available in the link below)

What’s more pretty than Strawberry and what’s more tastier than a Strawberry.  I love strawberries, the delicate balance between tartness and sweetness, the bright red and the fresh green.  And the fact that they are so versatile makes them almost out of the world. So many things you can do with them, from eating it just like them to standard eating them with whipped cream or with rum spiked chocolate ganache, strawberry pies and tarts, strawberry shortbread and yes yes my favourite Strawberry cupcakes.

Red Wine & Chocolate Cake

Ye,s Chocolate seems to be the underlying theme, after all Chocolate is one of the symbols of love. Who can think of a Valentine sans chocolate?

This Xmas vacation has put me in a baking overdrive, inspite the fact that Bangalore isn’t too cold. I guess it’s the feeling of festivity in the air, the desire of the smell of spices and cakes that makes it like this. Last week, I wanted to bake something different, in my head I clearly wanted something different, in my head I clearly wanted something chocolatey and something boozy, yet rum was too boring. Tried this red wine chocolate and I think it has the potential to be the star of any party. Different from the usual fruits cake yet has all the elements of the holiday celebrations!

Nutella Mug Cake

Looking for something really easy and quick, here is the perfect mugcake recipe for your celebrations. Tip : Add 1tbsp of rum to make it more fun!

Situated right at the busiest signal of Kormangala (yup yup I am talking about the Sony World signal with taco bell, KFC and now chroma too on one side and Oasis on the other the signal is a nightmare these days specially in the weekends), standing out by its bright yellow colour is Cage Au Bon Pain. Bright and chirpy with a yumm burger photo outside it invites you right in.

Bacon Brownies

Are you the adventurous type? The one who gets excited by things which are a little different. These brownies were made for you then.

Bacon makes everything better. Bacon is God. At least as far as I am concerned. And here is the recipe of Bacon brownies to make your weekend mind blowing and awesome.

Strawberry Cheesecake

And if you want to try the strawberry & wine combination but cupcakes aren’t your things. Here is a cheesecake that will win your heart for sure

This strawberry cheesecake will have you swearing against the cheesecakes you buy in the market. With a kickass compote this has the making of the best cheesecake ever!

 Red Velvet Cheesecake

I have a weakness of cheesecakes and this looks like it was made for Valentines!

So this was my list of valentine special desserts! What about yours?
