Weekly Menu : WW0716

Our Weekly Menu for this week when the weather is full of summer heat!

It’s full blown summer in Bangalore with temperatures going up to 33C. These first two weeks of transitional weather is so important for eating the right food so that the body is able to tide over the change smoothly. Here is our weekly menu that takes care of this. Hope you find it useful as well!

Weekly Menu

Recipes:

Raw Mango Raita

Grilled Chicken Wings

Whole Wheat Chocochip cookies

Green Chutney

Hung Curd Sandwich

Rawa Dosa

Paneer Spinach & Pesto Sandwich

Chicken Curry

Punjabi Dhaba Dal

Baigan Bharta

Waffles

These recipes are really easy to make and super handy. If you see, I have made the weekly menu really flexible and easy to follow. Even if you can’t follow the menu through the week, it definitely is a great guide to follow.

If you are someone like me, I am sure you will love the idea of having a menu in hand. Especially when you are in a rush and want to do things through the week, it is better not to get caught in a situation where you worry about oh my God, what do I cook.

Recipes like the Dal and the Baigan Bharta are great to carry forward too. So even if you don’t eat up the whole dish, you can definitely freeze and use the leftovers the next day. A dish like waffles is super special and trust me, the kids love it. Top it up with some strawberries and maple syrup or just some chocolate shavings or chocolate chips and your breakfast is made super special!

And if you want you can even make the atta for the rotis/paranthas in advance. You can just put it in an air tight container or cling wrap it if you want.
