I do try and incorporate some non vegetarian food in my weekly diet because I believe it is a good source of protein and I do love my non veg food. Whether it is some seafood, chicken or just eggs, it is always good to have that extra bit of proteins in the diet.

I have also realised that I often end up eating the sabji or dal by itself instead of having it with rice or rotis. That way I am controlling the amount of carbs I am eating, and yet enjoying a delightful meal. And I usually keep the dinner recipes really simple. Something that can be done in 20 or 30 minutes. That way you can ensure that you have a good meal in hand and yet get it done easily.

While I have given a separate menu for lunch, you can always carry forward the dinner to the lunch next day. I know a lot of us love making fresh food for all meals, and hence the option is given. And my weekly menus are usually a combination of Indian and international cuisines so that we have a mix of different ingredients and tastes and flavors.

And like I always maintain, this menu is just a guide. You can always interchange the recipes or decide to make something similar if you want. It is always good to have a guide for the week to get food on the table easily.
