Everyday Fish Roast

A simple and healthy fish roast recipe which you can make any day of the week which is delicious and yummy!

We all love fish at home and this fish roast is a regular on our table 🙂

Ojas especially loves fish and as he hardly eats any dals, I find fish as a very good source of protein for him. Also I personally think that fish is one of the best non-vegetarian food one can have. Low in fats, high in proteins and omega-3 fatty acids. As a result,  this fish is a regular at home and we have it 2-3 times a week. Sometimes I make a fish curry but Ojas is not really fond of it, so more often than not, I end up making fish roast. This fish roast is really simple to make and is so yummy.

This recipe is really simple and all you have to do is wait for the fish to marinate a bit. So make the marinade and coat the fish and enjoy your cup of tea and read something. Then during dinner time, just get the fish out and roast it. As simple as that.

I have realised I have started falling in love with simple recipes. Recipes which you use for everyday cooking which is not elaborate and yet the simplicity makes you fall in love with the dish. Often when we eat out, we eat dishes which are so full of masalas and spices that you can barely figure out what the dish is based on. In contrast, I really love recipes which let the core ingredient of the dish stand out on its own with spices just enhancing the flavors.

This everyday fish roast is pretty much like that. Simple flavors, elegant taste and so easy to make. A definite recipe to have if you love seafood.

Lovely… Monica, where can I get good fish in Bangalore? I don’t cook non-veg and cannot make out good ones from bad or fresh ones from stale ones. Thanks.
