Mix Veg Bread Roll

A delicious evening snacks idea! These fantastic mix veg bread roll is pan roasted and oh-so-yummy!

I love mix veg bread roll, especially the sinful deep fried ones but I don’t make them at home because of my aversion to deep frying stuff.

So, when I saw this shallow frying pan roasting way of making rolls in one of the blogs (I have even forgotten which one), I was delighted. I do bake bread rolls but they  have a slightly different taste with a bit of cheese and tomato sauce. The taste is pretty great but quite different from the deep fried ones. But these pan roasted ones were pretty close of the original sinful one.

This mix veg bread roll is slightly different from the deep fried ones because that mainly contains potatoes. And that is super indulgent, isn’t it? This one has the goodness of the vegetables and limited oil which means that you can indulge in it without feeling too guilty! It also has paneer in it which is a great source of protein.

You can mix and match the vegetables in this. You can add corn and carrots, whatever you fancy, as long as it is a vegetable which will not leave out too much water. These bread rolls are great as an evening snack or an after school snack. Just keep the rolls ready. All you have to do it just pan fry them to serve them hot. Even if you have guests coming in suddenly, these are pretty easy to make and fast to cook.

Serve them with some green chutney or saunth or tomato ketch up. They are sure to be gone in no time. You can use brown bread or white bread for the coating. I prefer brown bread because I like the taste and it is healthier.

Love these bread rolls more for the fact that they are not deep fried! Thanks for another wholesome entry for WWC on Lite Bite.
