Til Khichadi | Easy and delicious recipe for best khichdi ever

moong dal
yellow one
Salt to taste
For the ground masala
1
tbsp
brown sesame seeds
2
tsp
coriander seeds
4
Dry red chilies
Instructions
In a cooker boil washed rice and moong dal together with 4 cups of water. Bring it to one whistle and cook on low heat for another 5-6 minutes
Grind together all the masala ingredients and keep aside.
Once the khichdi is boiled, add the ground masala and salt. Simmer for 4-5 minutes. Serve hot with aloo and curd.
Notes
If you don't have brown sesame seeds use a 1:1 mix of roasted white sesame and black.
