Til Khichadi | Easy and delicious recipe for best khichdi ever

Til or sesame seeds meet the comfort food Khichdi to make the best khicdhi I have ever had. Here is the recipe for gluten free, ready in 20 mins Til Khichadi !

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup moong dal yellow one
  • Salt to taste

For the ground masala

  • 1 tbsp brown sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 4 Dry red chilies

Instructions
 

  • In a cooker boil washed rice and moong dal together with 4 cups of water. Bring it to one whistle and cook on low heat for another 5-6 minutes
  • Grind together all the masala ingredients and keep aside.
  • Once the khichdi is boiled, add the ground masala and salt. Simmer for 4-5 minutes. Serve hot with aloo and curd.

Notes

If you don't have brown sesame seeds use a 1:1 mix of roasted white sesame and black.
