Mango Pista IceCream | BM6 Post 6

With the deliciousness of mango and the flavors of pista, this mango pista icecream is a must have for summers! I have grown up eating home made mango ice creams, and this mango pista icecream is one of my favorites!   I still remember every summer when mum or if she is busy, dad, would make mango ice cream. We would keep on peeping in the fridge all day long to see if the icrecream was frozen or not. In the end, we would get scolded by mom or dad for opening the fridge way too … [Read more...]

My post on Incredible India! The states I have visited and my favorite memories of the state :) No No, don't judge because I have taken up a tag on just the 5th day. I did it because part of my plan is to clear the many many drafts I have in dashboard and this was the one that was itching to get finished from a long time. So here is the Incredible India tag picked up from Bikram's blog (I think Swaram also did it once but I cant find the link to it) The rules are: The list contains all … [Read more...]

Meetha Gud ka Parantha BM#4 Day 7

Meetha Gud ka Parantha is my grandmom's recipe which is filled with so much love! Delicious dry fruits are powdered and added with jaggery to make a kickass filling and put in as a stuffing to create an amazing dish! What? Is it day 7 already? Time flew this time. A week just got over, without me even realizing it! And, like they say, it is best to end the meal with a dessert. So we end our marathon with something sweet too, a sweet parantha. The memories of this parantha for me go back to my … [Read more...]

My delightful street food trail in Mumbai! I went from Mumbai to Pune, actually Lavasa. But then one passes through Pune right. I am foodie to the core (doesn't having this blog prove that?) So when the opportunity to go to Mumbai came, in the back of my mind, I had already starting plotting what all I should eat. I just had like half a day in Mumbai and the list of things to eat was a huge list. I would just call it my street food trail in Mumbai. After following FinelyChopped's tweets and … [Read more...]

Til Gajak

Til Gajak is what Lohris are made up of! The mixing of the sesame seeds with the jaggery with a hint of ghee makes this such an awesome dish! I remember growing up eating til gajak for every Lohri!
