MEC Potato Feast & Event Roundup

A delightful event roundup of the MEC Potato Feast which was held on my blog last month!

The humble potato, an ingredient which can be twisted as you wish. Potato was the theme of MEC Potato Feast that I held last month. Here is the lovely roundup with some lip smacking dishes.

Sravani of Srav’s Culinary Concepts send a yummy Indian Style Potato Corn salad masalas coated in olive oil a perfect fusion dish.

Next up we have sweet potato and cheese pie from Richa of Ambrosia, absolutely delightful looking dish which makes you wanna eat it right away.

Radhika of Tickling Plate sent a drooth worthy Mint Aloo Chat which I have already made at home once and loved it.

Lataji of Flavors and Tastes sent my way a lovely Aloo Mutter sabji that she made in microwave.

And we had Valli the creator of this event sent me two lovely entries, the yummy crispy potatoes.

And, the yummier microwave khoya aalo mutter!

And in the end my own entry to the delightful event, Sesame Potato!

Valli thanks for letting me host this event yet again. Its always a delight to host MEC and encourage people to cook in the microwave.

Every time I read a recipe which uses the microwave, I realise that there is so much cooking we can do in the microwave. It is definitely awesome to heat up the food, but it surely helps to know that we can use to microwave to create such delightful dishes. So if you are someone who is wondering whether it makes sense to buy a microwave, I would say go for it! Because it makes life so much easier. A perfect kitchen aid to fall back on if you run out of gas and can’t get a cylinder in time 🙂
