Chef’s Table : Amore Italiano Festival, Mövenpick Hotel & Spa

Amore Italiano Festival at Mövenpick Hotel & Spa! A very interesting Chef’s table full of warmth!

Mövenpick Hotel & Spa is hosting Amore Italiano, an Italian Festival with Chef Antonio visiting from Jordan specially for this. I was invited to be a part of the Chef’s table for the same yesterday night for dinner and the experience was outstanding. I have been a part of many many chef’s tables before but this was so special. I think it was mainly because of the fact that Chef Antonio was so warm and caring about the meal we are having, so typically Italian 🙂

Amore Italiano Festival

I am sitting at this post with so much to write about one of the best Italian meals I have had in a while and for a change, I am at loss of words. May be I will let the pictures do the talking this time just as Natasha from CAL suggested last night at dinner, you see I take the suggestions which make my life simpler very seriously 😉

Start of the evening with wine and cheese tasting. I found the Red wine not so impressive which is strange because usually I am a red wine person but I loved the white wine. The cheese were pretty good too. Blue cheese here was much creamier than the normal blue cheese one is used to.

I had such a brilliant time yesterday that I strongly recommended everyone to go for this. The food was fantastic, the drinks were great and the company was amazing. The chef went out of his way to interact with all of us and his warmth was so evident in the food. Delicious starters, yummy main courses and absolutely delightful desserts. This is one festival I would recommend you don’t miss at all.

The Italian Festival is on till 14th December. Go people go.

This one came without warning!! It’s a ‘sin’ to show so many drool-worthy pics… without offering any of the stuff that’s in them!! 😛
