Mom's Special
Bread rolls - Deep fried bread stuffed with mashed potato, peas, and spices in an indulgent all right. But a very worthy indulgent. Here is my mother's step by step foolproof recipe to make the same.
For the filling
- 2 big potato boiled and mashed.
- 1/2 cup peas boiled and mashed lightly.
- 1 small onion chopped.
- 2 green chillies chopped.
- coriander leaves
- 1 tsp dhaniya powder.
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder.
- 1/2 tsp aamchur powder dry mango
- salt and chilli powder to taste.

- For the rolls.
For the rolls
- 6 bread slices
- oil to deep fry
- Water to soak
Mix all filling ingredients and divide it into 6 equal parts.
Take a slice of bread, Cut the ends (optional). Dip it in cold water and then squeeze out the water.
Take a ball of the filling, place it in the bread. Then roll the bread making sure it is completely sealed. Check the video for how
Repeat for all slices.
Deep fry in oil till evenly golden brown
Serve hot absolute sinful but delicious bread rolls with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
