Cinnamon Raisin Muffins | Bm6.2 | Post 3

Cinnamon Raisin Muffins combine the subtle flavor of cinnamon with the sweetness of raisins, to create a great lunchbox option :)

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup maida
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 tsps cinnamon powder
  • 1/3 cup sugar (u can go a little low too)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract pure ( u can use the normal vanilla essence)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup raisins


  • Beat eggs, sugar and honey together till just mixed. Add vanilla extract.
  • Sift the flours, salt and baking powder together.
  • Take a little flour mix and mix the raisins in it keep aside.
  • Mix the wet and the dry ingredients till just about mixed.
  • Fold in the raisins and fill in the lined muffin tray.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200C for about 12 to 15 minutes till done.
