Quick cooking : Palak Chicken
With the goodness and the deliciousness of palak and protein of chicken, this palak chicken recipe is a keeper for sure!

- 400 gms palak (spinach)
- 400 gms chicken
- 2 onion medium sized chopped
- 2 tomatoes large chopped
- 3 - 4 green chillies (depending on how much spice you can handle)
- 6 pods garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 1 tsp jeera
- 2 Clove
- 4 black pepper Whole
- 1 bay leaves
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp Chicken curry powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsps cooking oil
Wash, chop and puree the spinach. Make sure you wash it well since you don't want even a bit of dirt left in them.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker and when it begins to heat, add jeera. After it browns a bit add all the whole spices and fry for another minute or so.
Add onions and fry till they brown.
Add tomatoes and fry till they leave oil. Now add all the dry ground masalas and fry for another minute.
Add the palak puree and let it boil for about 4-5 minutes.
Add chicken and a little water and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles.
Serve hot with paranthas, rice or dosa. The child loves to eat this with a spoonful of warm ghee.
