This super easy, ready in 20 minutes Prawn Masala is just the recipe you need for weekday dinner. It works fantastically well as meal prep boxes too. A total winning recipe if you ask me!
Heat oil in a pan and add shallots. Sautee till light brown.
Add ginger, garlic and sautee for another 2 minutes
Add the tomato puree and salt. Cook till the oil seperates and the tomatoes are throughly cooked.
Add the prawns and mix well. Cook for 5-6 minutes till the prawns are just cooked.
Serve hot with paranthas
Notes
For tomato puree please use fresh pureed tomatoes. Don't use the tetra pack puree.Please use a mild chilly powder, I like to use Kashmiri chilly for the color or Goondu Milagai. The small round nonspicy chilly. Also feel free to reduce the chilly powder.
