The Perfect Date

My idea of the perfect date for Valentine’s day!

I have been having a very quiet Valentine’s Day today, the first after we have met. We both are always looking for something or the other to celebrate a day. I know most people say that its a cliche and everyday is a day for love but I strongly believe that little celebrations just revive the love, the romance factor in a relation. Like the perfect date.

So Valentine’s Day is a perfect reason for celebration for us and we make it a special day every time. A holiday around that time. The 12 o’ clock celebrations, a romantic candle light dinner, a evening in the city club. Something for just of the two of us.

But this Valentine’s Day, due to my neck (which is much better BTW πŸ™‚ ) we are at home. Doing nothing and just resting and so when I read this post by Goofy, I felt a little sad and happy at the same time.

So here is what my ideal valentine date would have been (and that is what we had planned before the neck pain hit me :(. Well almost! minus the thin sexy avaatar and the Ferrari)

“A sexy red Ferrari convertible with a sexier me πŸ˜‰ , N driving on the lovely highway. We zipping past sunflower fields and hair flying away stopping only for a cutting chai on the road side and finally reaching the destination a lovely resort tucked away in a lovely coffee estate. Just the two of us in quaint and a very romantic suite with orchids on the side and a private pool, endless conversations flowing, reading books side by side, long long walks followed by wine in the pool, chocolate and  and of course, lots of nocturnal activities happening at all times of the day πŸ˜‰ “

So what’s the perfect date for you? What did you plan for Valentine’s Day and did it happen that way?

“little celebrations just revive the love”
True, not only love, celebrations revive all sorts of relationships in an overall manner. Personally I have not understood those who ask, ‘Isn’t the whole year for love/friendship etc’
    That was a wonderful plan/date outlined. πŸ™‚
Glad to hear your neck is better!

Our Valentines Day evening was spent in the bus! Return journey from Mysore to Bangalore!
It was double fun since we didn’t get a Volvo and had to take the local bus which stops ALL thru the journey in ALL the towns!!!

    Your perfect Date sounds Wonderful!

My hubby had a 102 deg temp on V-day and yet he gifted me a card, heart shaped yummy chocolate cake(which Ash cut) and a gym water bottle(which I desperately needed). And I gifted him NOTHING! πŸ™

My perfect date would be in the mountains, a table set for two, candle light, watching the sunset, sharing a bottle of wine, yummy food and me looking like Demi Moore…Hee haw haw haw! πŸ™‚ LOL
