My fourth edition of Sin-A-Mon Express! Launching my youtube video channel, yay!
The busiest and most festive months in India just passed by. The months in which the festivals came down in full fervour. This edition of Sin-A-Mon Express has been exciting.
I totally enjoyed decking up my house, hosting parties, cooking up storms, socialising but OMG I am so done. I am now looking for a moment of peace, about 1.5 months of slowing down before the Xmas and New Year Mania hits us again in full force.
The blog and the work life have been very busy. I did a series of Pumpkin recipes after I developed a few for a client, then you also saw a series of Diwali posts but the biggest news actually is my foray of videos.
We launched the Sin-A-Mon youtube channel, I had a grueling 3 days shoot at home where we shot for 39 hours in total and after the shoot, would follow the prep for the next day. I knew it is hard work but seriously it was much harder than anything I had imagined. Part of the reason I know is the format we have chosen. Like always on the blog, I bring to you the story of the food/dish along with the recipe.
But then I was hooked to the new medium – the videos. And when Kellogg’s (with whom I have a long term association) asked if I would like to do some quick Instagram like videos to fun things to do with Muesli, I was like yeah why not.
I have never created a video before, I am like what they call a video virgin. Infact the youtube channel was just launched and I wondered if I am being an idiot by saying but then where is the fun when there is no challenge. So I rolled up my sleeves, recorded some videos and then read up on editing and used iMovie to create the video and I have to say that I am even more hooked. It is such a high. This is the first video I created, tell me what do you think about it?
Hasn’t it been an exciting two months? I have loved it all and hope you enjoyed reading the posts too. In the next two months, you will be seeing a lot of simple ghar ka healthy food. Some interesting stuff coming up with Kellogg’s and a few more brand collaborations which I am working on. There are a lot of fun winter recipes, Xmas recipes coming up too and then there is another shoot lined up and we have many episodes lined up . So stay tuned and I will see you with the next edition of Sin-A-Mon Express in next year and on the note can you believe that the year is ending already? Didn’t it just start?
I cannot really end the post by talking about the Cucumbertown shutting down, sad sad news and just when I was getting so comfortable with the people and stuff here. Looking at moving back to Wordpress, so you will see changes in theme and stuff soon.
