The Biere Club Chophouse : Food Lovers Gourmet City

My experience at The Biere Club Chophouse's Food Lovers Gourmet City! I will begin the post by admitting I love love love The Biere Club and also Chophouse. The food is outstanding and no pretend just as it should be. Full of flavour and everything cooked to the extent that it should be. I love the beers at The Biere Club. I haven't checked out the Arbor Brewing company but apart from that, I think the best handcrafted beers in Bangalore are certainly at The Biere Club. I went there again … [Read more...]

White Chocolate & Nutella Truffles and being Featured in Cosmopolitan

White Chocolate & Nutella Truffles with a hint of chilli is a perfect dessert serve! Delicious and yummy! I am usually not a person who makes a lot of chocolates. Cooking with chocolate at home is mostly about baking. I have indeed tried by hands at truffles (this whilte chocolate and nutella truffles as well) before and everyone in the family loved it.   Somehow I never went back to baking them. But for the past sometime, O had been asking me "mumma lets make some … [Read more...]

A wonderful evening of meeting Kate Bracks and the launch of the Whitefield Baking Co at Marriott! I have been an ardent follower of MasterChef Australia, have watched all the seasons aired till now, either on TV or on youtube. Season 3 was one of my favorite seasons somehow the chemistry and balance between the contestants in that season was outstanding. There were many of them I was cheering and hooting for, throughout the airing of masterchef, but if there was one who had my heart. It was … [Read more...]

Strawberry Balsamic Pepper Preserve

Strawberry Balsamic Pepper Preserve is an amazing combination of strawberry, balsamic vinegar, and pepper which can be made in bulk to store and tastes amazing with toast and muffins! I love strawberries and I have been buying them by the kilos from my grocer and using them in everything. Baking with them, eating them just like that, making a jam or cheesecakes, and ice creams. Then somewhere an idea hit me to use it with balsamic vinegar. I had seen Sonya use pepper with them and I knew that … [Read more...]

Pav Bhaji with Homemade Pav Bhaji Masala

Pav Bhaji is a popular street food across India, especially in the West and when you make it with some homemade pav bhaji masala, you just can't resist it! Some days ago, when I was craving for an authentic Pav Bhaji, I posted on my FB Page asking which is the Pav Bhaji Masala which people prefer! There were a variety of responses and it seems like there was a divide between MDH and Everest. With both the parties backing their masala as the best, I must admit I got a bit confusion. Then Smitha … [Read more...]

International BBQ Fest with Chef Andy Annat

International BBQ Fest with Chef Andy Annat at Movenpick Hotel! I love BBQ (and BBQ Fest) stuff, setting up the grill, lighting the coal and then grilling the food around it while sipping some chilled beer and chatting up with friends. It is a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon or like we did this new year eve's. Set up the grill, get drinks ready, some music playing in the background and all of us sitting on the terrace floor chatting non stop while eating just off the grill hot food. … [Read more...]
