This Saturday I made Cosmopolitan – A Cointreau and vodka based cocktail both of which are my favourites in their own way!

Saturdays are times to do “Cheers”

Saturdays are times to celebrate

Saturdays are to have fun

Saturdays are times to bond over a drink

Saturday is when I get experimental with my cocktail mixing

Saturdays are when others drink what I make

I love Saturdays and I love the bonding time we have when we have people over. I get to experiment with loads of cocktails and many times than not, people love what I make. May be I can be a bartender in my life, sometime 🙂

Cocktails are drinks which are really so easy to experiment with. An ingredient here and one there and you get a completely new flavor. Also, cocktails are amazing because you can combine in whatever you want and like. Like this warm rum cocktail which my dad used to make regularly in winter in Delhi. Trust me, the warmth just seeped into you as you drank one sip after another, accompanied by some pressure cooker made chicken 🙂

Every time I make a cocktail, I think I add a different flavor, even if I am making the same thing again. And that is the beauty of cocktails, isn’t it? And if you have friends who come over and trust in you, then you should definitely be experimenting with new flavors 🙂 Add a dash of lime or a sprinkling of pepper. Crush in some basil leaves or just add some rock salt to the glass’s edge. Pour in some cranberry juice or put in some orange juice.  Try out new things because that is what cocktails are for. Life is to experiment and so are cocktails!
