BYLI : Bet You Love It, Kalyan Nagar

Super delicious breakfast at BYLI: Bet You Love It, Kalyan Nagar.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I love indulging in breakfast and it’s usually a very elaborate affair on weekends at home. But there are days when I don’t feel like cooking and for those times I can actually number of good breakfast places on fingers. So when I heard about BYLI: Bet You Love it, Kalyan Nagar. I had to try it out. I first wondered about the distance but it turns out that it is not too far from where I live. It took me about 25 minutes on a Saturday morning which is now a given amount one spends traveling in Bangalore.

BYLI, is a gorgeous little place on the Kammanhalli main road, cutesaying on the doors and the walls. Funky lights and a free wifi. It is I think turning into a youth hanging out destination of that area pretty fast.

BYLI: Bet You Love It

As we looked at the menu and wondered what to order, we had a good time looking around and reading all of the fun things.

We started with ordering a HRBR Chicken – an omelette with spinach, cheese, green chillies, coriander and tomatoes. I loved the fact that it had both good amount of cheese and spinach. A well made omelette this was.

We also ordered Big BYLI Breakfast or the 3B as they called. I choose my eggs to be MS; scrambled as a part of 3B, which is essentially three eggs scrambled with four kinds of cheese – Swiss, Monterey Jack, Cheddar and Cream Cheese. Each bite of those scrambled eggs was heaven. Delicious and cheesy. The mushrooms and the hash browns served as a part of 3B were also full of flavour and well made. I only had one small complaint and that was with the tomatoes, somehow I found them devoid of any flavour.

The child ordered a plate of waffles and a croissants for himself. The waffles were great but somehow I found the crispness and the flakiness in thecroissant missing but I think the waffle more than made up for it.

We ended the meal with a “Lindt Chocolate Shake” and a helping of tiramisu. What desserts are best eaten in the morning says many fitness experts and I was just following them 🙂 Now I am very critical of tiramisu and this one was not bad, not the best I have eaten but among the better ones.

And how does one finish breakfast without tea or coffee, we ordered the masala chai and the teapot it came in totally stole my heart. I want that one.
