Power Laddoo (post no 27)

Power laddoo is a delicious recipe which my mother came up with for fussy eaters!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups mixed pulses I took all of the pulses at home, apart from channa dal
  • 2 cups flour multigrain
  • 1 cup besan
  • 1/2 cup semolina
  • 2 cups ghee
  • 1 cup sugar powdered (Ojas likes this when it's less sweet, if you want add more )
  • 2 cups dry fruits mixed (almonds, cashew, melon seeds, chironji, flax seeds, walnuts)

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry all pulses.
  • Dry roast the pulses for 4-5 mins till they turn very light brown, taking care not to over-roast them.
  • Dry roast the dry fruits for 4-5 mins.
  • Finely grind the pulses.
  • Coarsely grind the dry fruits.
  • Heat oil and add the flour to it.
  • Fry for 5-6 mins stirring continuously, take care to not let it stick to the pan.
  • Add the powered dals and fry for 3-4 mins.
  • Add the semolina and fry for another 3-4 mins.
  • Add the besan and fry for 6-7 mins till u get a nice aroma and ghee comes out along the side of the pan.
  • Add the dry fruits and sugar and fry for another 3 mins.
  • Let it cool and make ladoos.
