  • 1 tbsp maida
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper corns Whole
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 chilies Green finely chopped
  • 1 sprig curry leaves (optional)
  • handful coriander leaves
  • to taste salt

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, mix together rava, rice flour, maida, salt together. Add about 4 cups water and make a thin smooth batter.
  • Add finely chopped green chilies, finely chopped onion, cumin seeds, black pepper corns, curry leaves and mix well.
  • Heat the dosa tawa and let it become hot. Sprinkle some water on the tawa. The water droplets will sizzle and the water will evaporate. Pour the thin batter in a circular motion. Do not try and spread the batter like we do in a normal dosa. Some holes are good!
  • Spread 1 tsp of oil on the sides of the dosa, cook both sides till crisp. Serve with some aloo subji and chutney or just some plain molagapodi!
