Pre heat the oven to 180C. Spread the walnuts on a baking dish and toast for 5-7 minutes and let it stand for cooling.
After the walnuts have cooled a bit, coarsely grind them and keep aside.
Sift together flour, baking soda and the spices.
In a large bowl, whisk together pureed apples, eggs, yoghurt and honey.
Mix together the dry and wet ingredients and then fold the walnuts to it slowly.
Pour in a 9-inch greased pan and bake for 55 minutes till the skewer comes out clean
Let it cool for 10 minutes then pour honey over slightly warm cake.
Serve warm, this keep good for 2-3 days in an airtight container though it is best the same day.
