Green Gram Smoothie

Using the local green gram or cholia (fresh garbanzo beans) to create the perfect winter smoothie. Perfect to kick start the day or as an after workout snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup fresh green gram fresh garbanzo beans or cholia
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 banana
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup curd

Instructions
 

  • Blend all the ingredients together in a blender till smooth. Add a bit of milk/coconut milk/water if the smoothie is too thick
  • Serve with a basil leaf for garnish

Notes

I use my soup maker to blend the smoothie but any high power mixer blender should work.
