Spicy Apple and Mulberry Chutney Recipe

Spicy Apple and Mulberry Chutney Recipe is what summer dreams are made of. Slight sweet, spicy and a tad sour it is perfect with any meal !

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh mulberries
  • 1 medium apple peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • 2 tsp chilli flakes reduce if you like less spicy
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat Olive Oil in a pan and sautee onions till lightly browned
  • Add apple and caramelise apples till it is slightly browned. About 3-4 minutes
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on simmer till apples are cooked well and mushy.
  • Cool completely and store it in an airtight bottle. Refrigerate and serve as and when required. It stores well for about 7-10 days !
