How to make BEST Waffles in Oven

  • 250 grams all purpose flour
  • 4 grams baking powder
  • 4 grams baking soda
  • 75 grams butter melted and cooled
  • 40 grams sugar
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 vanilla bean


  • Preheat the oven to 200C.
  • Sift together maida, baking powder and baking soda. Keep aside.
  • With a hand mixer, beat together eggs, sugar and melted butter till light and fluffy. Add milk and beat further for 1 minute
  • Slit the vanilla bean and add the black extract to the egg mixture.
  • Add the flour mixture and beat till it is mixed.
  • Pour in the silicon mould and bake for 10-12 minutes till the sides start to brown.
  • Enjoy with a good fruit compote, whipped cream and maple syrup


This recipe can be doubled easily if you want to make more waffles.
