Tomato Butter and Bacon Pull Apart Bread

An amazing tomato butter and bacon pull apart bread! So delicious that you just can’t resist it!

So sometime ago, Swati added me to a group started by Aparna about breads. And since I love baking breads it had me very very excited. Then I met with a small accident and hurt my wrist πŸ™ and there went all my plans to bake the bread. I told Aparna that I might have to skip this month and she being the sweet person she is told me please rest and bake it later. However pretty pictures of the bread started flowing in and I knew I had to bake this tomato butter and bacon pull apart bread πŸ˜› and so I did.

I made the filling with bacon and tomato butter and used her recipe as it as the bread base. Since the doctor has told me to rest my wrist (come on don’t stare at me :P) I will keep the post short and let not to so good pictures do the talking and not-so-good pictures are because I finished baking the bread at 7 pm, left the bread for cooling and thought will get up in the morning take some good shots and serve it for breakfast. Called my mum, came back after 20 mins and all that  was left was some crumbs and two slices.. The father & son telling me dinner is done sigh but that at least that means the bread was good. Well, it had to be! It had butter, garlic, tomatoes and bacon in it after all :D.

To make the tomato butter take 250 gms of cherry tomatoes, chop them in halves, 4 large garlic cloves, two tablespoons butter and grill at 200C for about 40 mins.

Your finger licking good tomato butter is ready!

I used the same basic recipe for bread so I am not typing it out since my wrist needs rest what you are staring at me again come on people πŸ˜‰

PS: Swati is also having a little giveaway on her blog, go take part people along with a Nigella book she is giving away a basket of spices and pickles from her kitchen. *drool*
