Sabudana Khichdi
Sabudana Khichdi is a popular breakfast item, also had when one is fasting! A delightful combination of sago, peanuts and potatoes, with a dash of lime!

  1. Wash and soak the sago for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Roast the peanuts and grind them coarsely.
  3. Heat oil, add mustard seeds.
  4. After they splutter, add jeera.
  5. Add the curry leaves and fry for 1 min. Add potato and fry till they are cooked and slightly crisp.
  6. Add salt and then add the sago and ground peanuts.
  7. Cook till done.
  8. Garnish with coriander and enjoy!
