The family favorite smoothie – Muesli Avocado & Mango Smoothie Bowl- and for good reason. This nutritious, satisfying and delicious twist on cereal is easy to make and filling – the avocado that is added in this smoothie bowl gives it a creamy texture that nothing else can.
I think smoothies make the most convenient and healthy breakfast ever and so it is not a surprise that they are the most trending food on Pinterest these days. Endless bowls and glasses of smoothies can be found via a quick search and they are so versatile that sometimes one can even make do without a recipe really. Throw in some fruits and vegetables which are in the fridge, some oats or muesli for the carbs you need in the morning to kick start your day, some milk, yoghurt or soy/nut milk depending on your liking and you have a custom smoothie ready. This Muesli Avocado & Mango Smoothie Bowl is a delectable mixture of flavours that is bound to leave you wanting more- super healthy too.
We at home, make smoothies for breakfast (and post workout meals) so very often and today I am posting the family favorite smoothie – Muesli Avocado & Mango Smoothie Bowl. Especially since the mango season is fast leaving us, we are eating this on an almost daily basis. And I’m not complaining 😉
O especially loves the mangoliciousness, for the lack of a better word, of this recipe and I too am completely in love with the flavour combination. This is super nutritious too. Perfect for summers because the season has a way of draining you out, without you even realizing it.
Did you know that the more color you have on your plate (or bowl) the more nutrients you are likely to be getting? So whenever it comes to smoothie bowls, or any the goal is to keep the meal as vibrant and bright as possible. I’ve tried to achieve that using Avacado in the recipe too – just looking at the bowl makes me smile. Without further ado, here’s the easy recipe to make it and try it for yourself:
Jowar Mango Chia Seeds Cake with Sweet Lime Glaze
Muesli Avocado & Mango Smoothie Bowl
- 2 mangoes medium ripe
- 2 avocado small ripe
- 2 tbsps Nut Muesli Kellogg's Fruit &
- 2 tsps flax seeds
- 1/2 cup yoghurt
- Nut Muesli Some more Kellogg's Fruit & for serving
- Wash and peel mangoes and avocado roughly.
- Blend together all the ingredients apart from the Kellogg's muesli for serving. I like to add flax seeds towards the end as they provide slight crunch.
- Serve in a bowl and top with some more muesli.
