Java Rain, Chikmagalur : Gorgeous property in coffee land

Java Rain in Chikmagalur a Gorgeous property set in coffee land. Landscape inspired by Indonesia, Buddhas all over the property and very tastefully done rooms!

We visited Java Rain in Chickmagalur sometime last year. And here is a much overdue post of the same. The property is breathtakingly beautiful, each room and decoration piece sourced with attention.

The tagline of JavaRain is Luxury brewed strong and that reflects so well in the decor. Each individual villa comes with an option of jacuzzi, private pool or a huge sit out at the least.

The decor is very tastefully done with my favorite scheme of white and blue, reminding me of Greece. We stayed in the presidential suite which had three bedrooms, a private pool, our own jacuzzi (where the kids spent most of their time) and a lovely sitting room.

The resort also has an infinity pool surrounded by a step auditorium kind of seating. With the backdrop of the hills, it is one of the prettiest pools I have seen in a while.

The food at Java Rain is your regular buffet stuff. I think they do the tandoor very well and need major help in the dessert and baked stuff department. My only grouse with the place if the service was not really upto the mark. Service really left you asking for a lot more. But then if your purpose is to just chill with kindle, swim and go for walks surrounded by luxury this might be just right for you!
