Four Points By Sheraton, Whitefield, Bangalore

Four Points by Sheraton at Bangalore is a great place to stay if you are on business trips to Bangalore!

The other day I was discussing with N on what makes business hotel a good business hotel. Something that stands out, something you would like to go back to again, frequently on business trips. I have been traveling on work a lot working on an exciting new consulting project. Setting up the menu of an upcoming restaurant, but more on that later. So this travel made me think yet again, as I lie on my comfortable bed at the end of each day missing home I wonder how important comfort and a little warmth from the hotel staff is for a business traveler and that made me recall the experience I had with Four Points By Sheraton sometime ago.

Some of us bloggers were invited to experience Four Points and their service. Located in Whitefield surrounded by many IT companies it marks the perfect location of the hotel and it is only enhanced by flawless execution. The whole decor of the hotel revolves around Karnataka and its culture , brilliant pictures of Hampi, Mangalore and more adorn the walls of rooms. A nandi from the owner’s personal family collection takes a centerpiece in the hotel lobby majestically.

We started the evening with a tour of the hotel and I pretty much live instgrammed (BTW hope you are following me on insta. If not DO IT NOW, here is the link) and after the tour we settled down  at “The Best Brews” for a drinks, snacks and couple of cocktail demos.

The bartender “Karl” made us some lovely cocktails. Most with a twist of beer in them.

The one of the left was my favorite from the evening.

For “The Best Brews” we moved on to “The Eatery” where Chef Kurly gave us a cooking demo on how to make “Dhekte Jhinge”, I liked this dish a lot. Prawns is a favorite with me and anything flambéed adds great depth to the flavour.

Chef Michael Swamy was also present with us through the evening and did a cooking demo for batter fried fish… We chatted with him on food photography, styling and more.

After this, we chilled around a bit. Grabbed some more drinks and retired to our rooms for a comfortable night. The rooms were spacious and  comfortable with their trademark soft linen and brilliant Karnataka picture as a backdrop.

And think about waking up to a huge spread of breakfast after a blissful sleep cause thats exactly what we did.

Four Points by Sheraton for me was a perfect business hotel specially with impeccable housekeeping. That is something I have come to treasure the most in my recent travels.
