Mango Pachadi | BM6 Post 7
Today is the last day of BM, 7 days just flew this time Valli has a very intersting twist to the whole thing, for the last day we have to make something from the person we are paired with around the theme... and I had been paired with Harini, while I was browsing her blog for what to make I had many ideas but decided to make this Cocunut Mango Chutney and we had it with vegetables dosas for dinner tonight yes, we love having breakfast for dinner here... :)
Recipe - cocunut raw mango chutney (adapted from Harini)
- Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seed, channa dal, urad dal and red chillies to fry.
- Add the grated cocunut and let it brown for about 2-3 mins.
- Add the grated mango and mint leaves and add to the above mixture and mix, Switch off the gas.
- Grind it after cooling and add an optional tempring of mustard seeds.
Hope u enjoyed the mango marathon along with, its unbelievable how many mango recipes I still have in my drafts to be published... aam panna, mango rice, mango blueberry crumble, mango pudding,raw mango rasam... valli may be I shld have done mango for 15 days :P sigh u get it that I am a mango freak so I eat smell, eat and dream mangoes in mango season :D.
