I absolutely love missi roti. Being a punjabi girl that I am I have grown up on eating them and everytime I think of it I start craving for it. Its a pretty regular at home and pretty easy to make too. Traditionally its made in the tandoor but at home I make it on the tava itself and it's still very yummmm.

    Ingredients

    Besan
    1 cup
    Whole wheat flour
    3/4 cup
    Sooji
    1/ cup
    Chat masala
    1 tsp
    Onion finely chopped
    one
    Fresh Coriander leaves chopped
    handful
    Green Chillies finely chopped
    2 3
    Pomegranate seeds
    1/2 tsp
    Salt
    to taste
    Oil + for making paranthas
    1 tsp

    Steps

    1. Combine all he dough ingredients together to make a firm dough
    2. Let it rest for about 15 minutes or so
    3. Take a small ball and roll it using ur hands or the chakla using polyethene too roll
    4. Cook on a hot tava on both side
    5. Enjoy with butter and green chutney

    Divine.
