    Ingredients

    Uncooked rice ( I used basmati)
    1 cup
    Oil
    2 tsps
    Cloves
    2
    Bayleaf
    1
    Piece of cinnamon
    1 inch
    Pearl onions peeled
    1 cup
    Red chilli powder
    1/2 tsp
    Jeera seeds
    1 tsp
    Whole black pepper
    5 6
    Salt
    to taste

    Steps

    1. Soak the rice for 1/2 hour. Heat oil, jeera,cloves, cinnamon, pepper and bayleaf.
    2. After a minute add pearl onions and fry till it gets pinkish.
    3. Add salt and 2 cups of water. Let it boil.
    4. Add rice and Pressure cook for 1 whistle.
    5. Seperate the grains using a fork, serve with raita of your choice. We had it with rajma and chicken curry... yummm.
